Legal Analyst
Job Description
Key Hiring Requirements Looking for candidates with 2+ years of relevant experience in reviewing, drafting, negotiating and redlining commercial contracts. Experience working with US and/or UK jurisdictions is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate strong critical thinking and independent decision-making abilities, beyond playbook-based contract reviews. Excellent communication skills are mandatory. Qualified Lawyer (LLB) is a non-negotiable requirement. Full-time graduation is mandatory; distance/correspondence education will not be considered. Insurance background is preferred but not mandatory. Role Details Designation: Analyst / Senior Analyst Shift: 1:30 PM – 10:30 PM Location: Mumbai preferred Hybrid model: 5 consecutive office days per month, remaining period WFH (initial 5-6 months would be training period)
Another area to watch out for is Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) experience. While valuable, this often refers to tracking contracts from initiation through execution and may not involve the legal review, negotiation, or drafting experience we're looking for in this role. Lastly, exposure to US and/or UK law-governed contracts is an important requirement. Candidates may not always highlight this clearly, especially if their experience has primarily been with Indian organisations, so it would be good to validate this during screening.
